ACCA - Annandale Christian Community for Action

Serving others

Food Pantry

Sources

Donations – Individuals can donate non-perishable food at the pantry on Tuesday-Friday from 1:30-4 pm, except for County Holidays and other scheduled closings. The ACCA food pantry is located at 7200 Columbia Pike (trailer separate from the daycare center) in Annandale. Please do not drop off food if a volunteer is not available. There is currently (April 2024) a collection box at Mason District Government Center which is open from 9 – 5 on weekdays.

Purchases – A team of shoppers goes to several stores to get what is needed most at the lowest price. In place of food, monetary donations are always welcome.  A check can be written to ACCA Inc. and mailed to ACCA, 7200 Columbia Pike, Annandale VA 22003. Donations can also be made online through SpurLocal.

Gardens – ACCA can also distribute fresh produce to clients from your home gardens.  Please deliver to the pantry on Tuesday – Wednesday between 1:30 and 4 p.m. (so the produce is delivered to clients before the weekend).

Volunteer Opportunities

Delivery Drivers – Our drivers pick up pre-bagged food at the pantry on Tuesday-Thursday afternoons and deliver to the client’s home in the Annandale area. Drivers respond to a weekly survey to let us know what days they’re available each week. To volunteer as a driver, view the description of duties. (pdf). Interested? Please complete the form or email volunteers@accacares.org.
