How We Help
ACCA provides emergency food for individuals and families referred by social workers and ACCA member churches. Volunteer “food captains” receive these requests and arrange for volunteer drivers to pick up the food from the ACCA Food Pantry and deliver it to client’s home.
ACCA member churches and many local community groups donate food for the ACCA Pantry. Two of the largest annual food drives are organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers in May and the Boy Scouts in November. If you would like to organize a food drive or volunteer with the Food Pantry, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
To request food, contact the Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning office at 703-222-0880.
