Please save Saturday October 11 for the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk.
The Annandale CROP Hunger Walk will be Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Lake Accotink Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m. near the marina. Parking is available from 5660 Heming Avenue or from 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield, VA. The CROP Hunger Walk raises funds for Church World Service (CWS), which works with partner organizations around the world to fight against hunger and the challenges of disease, disaster, and displacement. CWS shares funds with local hunger- and poverty-fighting organizations, and ACCA will receive a share of funds raised by the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk. Most ACCA churches that join the Annandale walk have a team lead who coordinates participation at their church.
Children and youth through grade 12 are invited to make posters for the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk. The posters should be themed around ending hunger and should announce the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk. We will display the posters at the walk. The deadline for poster submissions is October 6.
