Annandale Christian Community for Action

A coalition of churches serving those in need.

Stuff the Bus – Appreciation

The countywide “Stuff the Bus” food drive on March 19, 2022 collected food from the George Mason Regional Library and Belvedere Elementary locations and provided ACCA with much-needed supplies for the food pantry.

Many thanks to the local community for their generous donations and volunteers for their support with the latest food drive to help stock the ACCA Food Pantry.

The Baileys Crossroads Rotary Club delivered a $1,000 donation to the ACCA Food Pantry on Friday, March 18th for the purchase of perishable food items.  Christian Solem accepted the donation presented by Rotarian Ben Hester.   Mr. Solem thanked the club for the very generous donation. He also said the food pantry operated by the Annandale Christian Community for Action is quickly running out of non-perishable food items and is asking the community for donations.

ACCA’s food needs are almost constantly changing.  A team of shoppers goes to several stores to get what is needed most at the lowest price. In place of food, monetary donations are always welcome.  A check can be written to ACCA Inc. and mailed to ACCA, 7200 Columbia Pike, Annandale VA 22003

ACCA collects food donations at the food pantry located at 7200 Columbia Pike (trailer separate from the day care center) in Annandale. Donations can be dropped off Tuesday – Friday from 1:30 – 4 p.m. For more information, please contact pantry@accacares.org.

Volunteers helped throughout the day to transport and shelve the food. The food pantry provides emergency food for individuals and families referred by social workers and ACCA member churches.
