Annandale Christian Community for Action

A coalition of churches serving those in need.

First Aid Kit Collection for ACCA

The annual Fairfax County VolunteerFest is scheduled for September 17.  Sponsored by VolunteerFairfax, VolunteerFest coincides with Patriot Day, a National Day of Service and Remembering.  This is an opportunity for local organizations to recruit volunteers to fulfill some of their most pressing needs.  Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) will be collecting first aid kits from the local community for distribution to our food pantry clients. This is a good project for school groups, scout troops, or anyone who would like to help.

Find out what to include and register here!

Register now and begin to collect the items (or purchase a ready-made kit or kits) and place in a Ziploc bag or container with a lid.

Items that are perfect for these first aid kits are listed below:

  • Gauze Pads
  • Bandages (all sizes)
  • Gauze Roller Bandage
  • Triple Antibiotic Ointment
  • Tweezers
  • Adhesive Tape
  • Latex Gloves
  • Saline Wash
  • Alcohol Pad
  • Eye Wash
  • Eye Pads
  • Q-Tips
  • Ear Plugs
  • Sunscreen

You can then drop them at the ACCA Food Pantry on Saturday September 17 at 7200 Columbia Pike in Annandale between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.    Thank you for your support.
